I remember asking a friend with far more children than I how she got everything done. Her house was always clean, meals always cooked, etc… I finally realized that it is not what I have time for, it’s what I make time for. Now, with one more child than before, I am the person people are asking that same question. Make time for what is important for you. If it isn’t important, it doesn’t matter.
When using a new recipe, read the ENTIRE recipe even before going shopping. You don’t want to find yourself in the middle of cooking and realize you need an item that wasn’t on the ingredients list.
I try to find a simple activity or put on a movie that will entertain my little boy and keep him out of the kitchen while I cook. I also make sure that my baby is fed and her diaper fresh to enjoy a positive culinary experience. I use LUVS. They smell baby powder sweet, hold plenty, and are a great price! I have a round baby and had one square baby and I have luved them on both! You can win diapers for a year at luvsdiapers.com
